Technology
The technology department is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all technology for the district.
The department consists of one part-time administrator, one network administrator, two full-time computer specialists and one part-time computer specialist. Their duties include the setup and distribution of all new technology equipment and software as well as the repair and maintenance of all existing equipment in the wide area network which consists of 11 local area networks serving more than 1,200 computers.
The technology staff members are also responsible for the administration and operation of several web-based applications that are used throughout the district such as Infinite Campus, NutriKids, and local web server. In addition to this, the technology department provides support for the staff and students to help them use the resources and learning tools provided to ensure the best education possible.
