Welcome to Sturgis Elementary  School.  Our principal is Mr. Norman Graham and our assistant principal is Ann Nonnast.
      Sturgis Elementary has dedicated teachers and support staff who work to ensure that all students receive the best education. The district also provides many support services.       The Meade District is emphasizing Character Education in its K-12 goals.  Please join in teaching children the qualities of good people--trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Every month we send out a newsletter which contains educational information, upcoming events and student activities. To access the newsletter, click the newsletter crayon.

     The School Supply list for the 2009-2010 school year can be accessed by clicking on the crayon marked school supply lists.
     Recipients of the Extra Mile and Golden Broom Awards can be viewed by clicking the Achievement crayon. The Extra Mile Award is given to a staff member by his or her peers for going the extra mile to help students or other staff members.  The Golden Broom Award is given to a class for keeping a tidy room.
