In addition to the musical program there are a number of activities that occur within the classrooms at Piedmont Valley Elementary.  These activities don’t only occur on Veterans Day but throughout the week.  These activities include essay and poem contest writings, historical lessons, art projects, and letters of thanks sent to veterans and soldiers from the students at Piedmont Valley Elementary.
