Student Insurance
Meade School District 46-1 does not assume responsibility for accidents that may occur. However, district officials recognize the advantage of making school accident insurance available as well as school dental protection by cooperating with companies offering these services.
The insurance mentioned will be offered to parents wishing coverage for students enrolled in Meade Schools. Meade School District’s part is only to: (1) send the literature home to parents explaining the programs and providing for student enrollment, and (2) to have available the forms for filing claims for accidents covered by the insurance. The insurance company, not the school district, approves all claims.
