The Meade School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the lecture hall, room 111, at Sturgis Brown High School. All board meetings are open to the public and all actions authorized or required by law are taken at those meetings. The board may, however, meet in closed session to discuss student, personnel or legal matters.

The school board welcomes attendance at meetings by employees, students, parents, and members of the community. Patrons who wish to discuss a matter with the board are asked to contact the superintendent several days prior to the meeting by calling 347-2523.

Board members recognize the right of the public to information concerning Meade School District. Accordingly, the board has provided opportunities for citizens to exercise this right. Written policies are available for inspection by citizens and minutes of all board meetings are a matter of public record. In addition, all area media are furnished copies of the board agenda in advance of the meetings.
