There will be no school for the Meade School District 46-1 Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
This includes the schools of Sturgis Brown High School, Sturgis Williams Middle School, Sturgis Elementary, Piedmont Valley Elementary, Stagebarn Middle School, Whitewood Elementary, and the rural schools of Atall, Central Meade Co. School, Elm Springs, Hereford and Opal.
The business office and superintendent's office will be closed.
