STURGIS, S.D. — August 12, 2025 — Sturgis Brown High School is set to welcome incoming freshmen and new students with an orientation event on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
The orientation will provide an opportunity for students and families to get acquainted with the school community ahead of the first day of the 2025-26 academic year. Attendees will have the chance to meet teachers, tour the campus, and receive class schedules, helping to ease the transition into high school.
“We’re excited to welcome the Class of 2029 and all new students to SBHS,” said school administrators. “This orientation is a great way to start building connections, learn your way around, and feel more confident on day one.”
Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend alongside students. Faculty and staff will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and provide information about academic programs, extracurricular activities, and student support services.
