The Meade School District 46-1 will have a 2-hour early release for students on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 to give our staff time to practice district safety drills and reunification procedures. These drills are an important part of our safety planning and help us stay prepared to protect our students and reunite families quickly in the event of an emergency.
Busses will be running 2 hours earlier than normal.
This includes the schools of Sturgis Brown High School, Sturgis Williams Middle School, Sturgis Elementary, Piedmont Valley Elementary, Stagebarn Middle School and Whitewood Elementary. *Rural schools of Atall, Elm Springs, Hereford, Opal and Central Meade Co. School will be released at 2:00 pm.
