Junior Achievement (JA), a national leader in youth education focused on financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship, brought its proven lessons to Sturgis Brown High School on Thursday, December 3rd.
Through engaging discussions and real-world insights, JA volunteers met with current seniors to explore the values of passion, honesty, integrity, and excellence—core principles that drive success both personally and professionally.
Junior Achievement’s hands-on programs are designed to positively impact the lives of young people by preparing them for the realities of work and life. Aligned with both national and state educational standards, JA lessons are delivered to millions of students each year through partnerships with educators and dedicated volunteers from local communities.
Junior Achievement gives students a chance to learn directly from people who have built careers and businesses with integrity. At Sturgis Brown, students had the opportunity to connect classroom learning with practical experience. Volunteers shared personal stories and advice, encouraging students to pursue their goals with determination and ethical leadership.
