First Interstate Bank is hosting the first ever Food Truck/Food Drive benefitting the Scooper Closet's (SBHS/SWMS) and Stallion Closet (SMS) on Homecoming Day Friday, September 19, 2025 from 11 am - 5 pm in front of Harley Square.
Dental Bus Coming to Sturgis Elementary!
The Delta Dental Mobile Program is coming to Sturgis Elementary September 15-19, 2025. They provide dental exams, preventive services, cleanings, and cavity fillings at no charge for students who have not seen a local dentist in over 2 years, or those who live more than 85 miles from the nearest dentist. Prioritization will be given to children without private dental insurance or a home dentist.
If you are interested in having your child visit the dental bus, please contact the office at 605-347-2386. Paperwork must be completed and given to the school nurse to schedule your child. This service is open to all students in Meade School District.
Today, Wednesday, August 20, all staff gathered for the annual in-service. The morning kicked off with a light breakfast, vendors, and fun giveaways—setting the tone for a positive and energized start to the year!

Administrative expectations for parents and students when attending open houses is to spend 30-45 minutes at the school their child attends. Schools will be open and available during those specific times and parents should adjust their time accordingly to attend specific open houses.
