Last week, 7th grade English students learned about different types of poetry. Students then had to create their own "spring themed" poem to have displayed in the classroom. A select few students have even decided to take their poetry writing skills to the next level and participate in the National Student Poetry Contest.

On Tuesday, March 19th our Special Olympics team competed in the United Basketball games hosted by the United Spartans. Our players and cheerleaders did a FANTASTIC job - and we know that would not have been possible without our Outstanding coaches, Mrs. Lyons and Ms. Skovlund. We also had some wonderful seventh grade student helpers.
