Today, we proudly recognize and celebrate the outstanding medical professionals at Piedmont Valley Elementary. Whether providing comfort with ice packs and bandages, offering a reassuring presence, or attending to the daily health needs of our school community, their dedication never goes unnoticed.
We are deeply grateful for the compassionate care and unwavering support they provide to our students and staff each day. While today offers a special opportunity to honor their contributions, we recognize that their impact is felt year-round.
A sincere thank you to Natasha, our school nurse, and Nicole, our nurse assistant, for all that you do. Your commitment, kindness, and professionalism make a meaningful difference in our school community. We appreciate you both greatly.

The Last Day of School for students is Wednesday, May 20, 2026—and yes, it’s a 2-hour early release (because even the school day knows it can’t compete with summer 😎).
Translation: backpacks will be lighter, attention spans will be very negotiable, and dismissal might just be the fastest part of the entire school year.

Hello Parents/Guardians & Community Members!
We love seeing our community enjoy the fields at Piedmont Valley Elementary and Stagebarn Middle School —but lately, our grass has been doing a little too much “business.” 💩 If you’re out walking your pup, please remember to scoop the poop! Please stay off of the football field and surrounding areas. Our students would prefer grass, not surprises.
Help us keep the fields open for everyone—otherwise, we may have to press “paws” on public access and we don't want for it to come to that.
Thanks for being a responsible pet owner! 🐶

Are you looking for something to do this weekend?

Today we honored our Military Children by wearing purple and giving students a certificate. These students make many sacrifices while their parent(s) are serving our country, and we are so grateful for them!

We can't wait to show our support for our Military Kids tomorrow! Wear purple with us and show these students how much we appreciate the sacrifices they make while their family members serve our country.

Don't forget to wear purple this Friday as we celebrate Purple-Up Day. April has been designated as Month of the Military Child. According to the DOW website, "there are more than 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parents' service. While military members serve around the world, we often forget the challenges faced by their children. Military families move on average every two to three years, impacting military children through changing schools and support networks."
Let's show our support for our amazing military students by wearing purple this Friday!
