There will be No Kindergarten ONLY on Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19 while we conduct Kindergarten Screening for the 2025-26 school year!
Please call the Piedmont Valley Elementary office today to schedule your appointment for Kindergarten Screening. Students must be 5 by September 1, 2025 to qualify for kindergarten, and you must have an appointment to screen. Screenings will be held Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19. The Meade School District 46-1 will have a two hour late start on Friday, March 7,2025. Busses will be running two hours later than normal.

PTA has a Spring Spirit Wear open now until March 2nd. When they have everything completed, Park Bench will deliver orders to the school. This could be great for siblings at Stagebarn also 🙂

No School February 14 & 17, 2025
The National Association of School Resource Officers appointed February 15th of every year to be School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. This day is set aside to celebrate our sworn law enforcement officers who work in schools to keep our kids and staff safe, and build relationships with our families and students. Deputy Ness has worked in Piedmont Valley Elementary since 2023. Since that time she has read to students in their classroom, greeted them when they come in the office, and given out countless badge stickers and hugs! She has also helped with the implementation and training of the "I Love You Guys" safety protocol. We are so lucky to have her in our PVE family!
Congratulations to our Runner-Up for Teacher of the Year, Junior Kindergarten Teacher Beth Pitsor, and Runner-Up for Support Staff of the Year, Paraprofessional Barbie Green! We are so lucky to have you on our team and appreciate all you do!
