If your student participated in the Piedmont Valley Elementary fundraiser this year, the pick-up for those items will be on Wednesday, October 30, from 2:30pm - 6:00pm in the Old Gym. Please make arrangements to pick up your items at this time as we do not have storage or freezer space for items not claimed. Please call the office at 605-787-5295 with any questions.

Sturgis volleyball players will be sporting their pink tonight as they honor Jamie VanDervoort, wife of Reed and mother of five. Jamie fought a brave, faithful, and grace-filled battle with breast cancer and passed on 7/11/24. Reed and Jamie's twins, Roan and Bryndle, are first graders here at Piedmont Valley Elementary. Reed and Jamie are both graduates of Sturgis Brown High School and their niece is Erin Shaw, a Sturgis Volleyball team member. We are so grateful for this loving family and the opportunity to come beside them and honor Jamie. We love you VanDervoort family!
Congratulations to the Piedmont Valley Elementary Student Council float who won Best Use of Theme (Scoopers in Hawaii) at the Homecoming Parade on Friday! A special shout out to Julie Peterson and Heidi Kraft, our Student Council Advisors, for all your hard work! Also, thank you to Matt & Marlene Kullbom for providing the trailer and driving in the parade, and to Wendy Johnson, Beth Pitsor, and Jess Bernhagen for volunteering your time...we appreciate your continued support.
